Notes from Second Chance Companions

Tabasco is one of five kittens who arrived at the Van Plaza PetSmart in an Amazon delivery tote—a frightening start to life for such young kittens. As you might imagine, the experience left them scared and overwhelmed. After a few days of quiet time to decompress, plenty of good food, and treatment for fleas, their true personalities began to shine. Now Tabasco is a happy, affectionate kitten who starts purring the moment you offer attention. In fact, he purrs so loud that if he is laying on the floor upstairs and purring, we've been able to hear him downstairs, through the floor! He is a total sweetheart who doesn't mind being held and enjoys lap time now and then as well. No experience around kids yet, but would likely be fine. He is good with other cats once he gets to know them, but doesn't have any experience around dogs yet. Tabasco has been neutered, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, is vaccinated and dewormed, and is microchipped—ready to find a loving forever home.
