Notes from Second Chance Companions

Hi, my name is Monroe. I had a pretty bumpy start to life but I am one of the lucky ones! Lucky because I was taken in and got all of the medical attention that I needed to get me ready for YOU!! SCC is helping me to find that purr-fect home! So let me tell you about myself. I am about 3 years old. I did get a clean bill of health at the vet, and spayed, I am good to go! I am a pretty playful girl and a bit more independent than the other cats in the house. I do like to hunt the toy mice. Probably from my street life, I am more partial to boy cats, if I had to choose. Because of my timid nature, I would probably be better with older kids. I am tolerant of dogs, but of course, breed, age and size can make a difference. Slow introductions are always best.. I am quite comfortable in my new indoor life, so a perch by the window to watch the birds and squirrels outside. I am current on my vaccines and microchipped and very good with my litterbox.
