Notes from Collar of Hope

Our website has information about our rescue, adoption process and link to our adoption application www.collarofhope.org

We are a foster home based rescue and have no facility to visit. Some of our kitties can be seen at our PetSmart partner store in Gig Harbor and it will be noted on their profile if they are at this public location.

Ro was adopted with her sister and returned to us due to their owners relocation. The adoption fee of $150 is for BOTH girls. Below was the original profile info and it still holds true. The girls have lived well with other dogs but never dogs so we don't know how they'd be with them. (Original profile info) Leela is a gorgeous girl with the most awesome fluffy tail. She is sweet and lovable also. A less chaotic home would be her ideal home as she's not quite as confident as her sister Abby. She loves to be loved on. She can also be really chatty with a lot to say! Who's ready to give her the wonderful life she always deserved?

Prior to adoption, our animals are spay/neutered, vaccinated age appropriate (will need additional vaccines in some cases), and parasite treated/prevented as a minimum, micro chipped and FELV/FIV tested.

What happens next

  1. Contact Collar of Hope using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Collar of Hope, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
