Notes from Alleghany Humane Society
Shadow is a 12 year old spayed female senior cat. She is a sweet girl who came into our shelter after her owner went into assisted living. She would prefer to be the only cat in the house. If you are interested in adopting please head to our website at https://alleghanyhumane.org to fill out an adoption application or you can come to our shelter to visit from 12-4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

What happens next
- Contact Alleghany Humane Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Alleghany Humane Society, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
