Notes from Fancy Cats Rescue Team
Hendricks — A Survivor Looking for His Safe Place ❤️ Hendricks has survived more than most cats ever should. As a helpless six-week-old kitten during Malaysia’s COVID lockdown in 2020, he was rescued from a local market where children were cruelly using him for target practice. Somehow, this little survivor kept going. In 2022, Hendricks moved to Oman with his family and two other rescue cats. He once lived peacefully with other cats, but a terrifying attack by an aggressive street cat left him seriously injured and changed him forever. Today, other cats and loud, chaotic environments make him anxious and hyper-vigilant. But with people, Hendricks is a completely different cat. He adores human affection and forms deep, meaningful bonds with the people he trusts. He may be shy at first, but give him patience and a quiet environment, and you'll discover a loving, devoted companion who simply wants to feel safe. Hendricks isn't looking for a busy household or a home filled with other pets. He's looking for one special person or family who will give him the gift of being their one and only cat. A peaceful home, a sunny perch, some quiet companionship, and a person he can finally trust—that's all this brave boy has ever wanted. And after everything he's survived, he deserves nothing less. ❤️ Could you be the safe place Hendricks has been waiting for? Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip
