Notes from RappCats
Chandelle is a little beauty dressed in mostly white, with one black spot and an adorable black-tipped tail. Her name means “candle” in French, and she's a tiny bright light just waiting to shine in her forever home. With such unique markings, she's a one-of-a-kind little treasure!
We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application: https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159 Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at 540-987-6050 or email us at adopt@rappcats.org.

What happens next
- Contact RappCats using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to RappCats, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
