Notes from Community Animal Welfare Society

Meet Turtle — A Tiny Kitten with an ENORMOUS Heart! Born behind bars in a rural Utah shelter, Turtle and his three siblings spent their first two months waiting for a chance at life. Now, this stunning medium-haired Russian Blue boy is ready to steal someone’s heart! The runt of the litter by a whole pound, Turtle proves that the smallest packages can hold the biggest love. Despite his tiny size, he keeps right up with his bigger siblings, playing hard and chasing toys like he can take on the world! When playtime is over, he rolls right onto his back asking to be scooped up and seals the deal with the sweetest little headbutts. Turtle is the perfect mix of playful little adventurer and professional snugglebug. He may be the smallest of his siblings, but he has just as much spirit and love to give! Turtle is very bonded with his siblings, so he must be adopted with one of them: Briar, Blair, or Cedric. Two kittens mean twice the fun, twice the cuddles, and twice the love! Now, all Turtle is missing is YOU! Could you be the happily-ever-after this little boy has been waiting for? What happens next

  1. Contact Community Animal Welfare Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Community Animal Welfare Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
