Dusty
Domestic Short Hair / Mixed · Baby · Male · Medium · SLC, UT
Notes from Community Animal Welfare Society
Dusty is a gorgeous grey striped tabby with eyes so dark gold they are almost orange. He is looking for very special adopters who can be patient with his shyness. He was born in a feral colony but has since adapted to inside life, and we’d really like to find him a home so he can stay inside. Dusty gets along very well with the cats and dog he currently lives with. It’s just humans that make him a little nervous. But once he warms up, he loves to sleep at the foot of the bed and even come up closer for tummy rubs and ear scratches. He would be an excellent companion for another cat in the home, especially for owners who can’t be home as much. He is very low maintenance. But he does need adopters who understand that he will take a couple weeks to warm up, and that he gets easily scared by people. He does not like being picked up and for this reason he’s probably not a good fit for kids.
