Notes from Community Animal Welfare Society

Meet Cedric, Professional Cuddler in the Making! For the first eight weeks of his life, this stunning gray-and-white fluffball knew nothing but a tiny cage in a rural shelter, waiting for a family to call his own. Now, this little lovebug is making up for lost time! Cedric’s favorite things? Sleeping belly-up, wrapping himself around his human’s neck, and playing with his beloved siblings, Briar, Blair, and Turtle. He loves a good game of chase and wrestling with his siblings, showing off his playful side before settling in for some serious cuddle time. He has an enormous heart, a ridiculous talent for cuddling, and a lifetime of love to give! His one little wish? He can’t imagine life without a sibling by his side! Cedric must be adopted with one of his siblings so he can continue enjoying the companionship, playtime, and snuggles he loves so much. He spent the beginning of his life behind bars. Help him spend the rest wrapped in your arms! If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application

What happens next

  1. Contact Community Animal Welfare Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Community Animal Welfare Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
