Notes from Community Animal Welfare Society

Howdy, nice to meet you! I’m Owl Kitty, the sweetest, yet kind of shy, fluffy jet-black kitty. I’m very playful and love foil balls and feather wands! I’m also a cuddle bug, but on my own terms. I live with other cats and kittens and get along with them very well. Dogs are fine, too, as long as they are calm and let me be a kitten. I must be adopted into a home with a young playful cat or kittens, as a companion since I’m just a baby myself ! Just remember, I’m still a baby and need lots of company and attention. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application

What happens next

  1. Contact Community Animal Welfare Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Community Animal Welfare Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
