Notes from Community Animal Welfare Society

Adonis, affectionately known as Donny, is a handsome tabby boy searching for a peaceful home where he can truly relax and thrive. Donny has Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), a condition that can cause bladder inflammation during times of stress. Because keeping his stress low is an important part of managing his condition, Donny would do best in a quiet, predictable home, ideally as the only pet or with one other calm companion. He needs an adopter who understands his medical needs and is committed to providing appropriate veterinary care. When Donny feels safe, his sweet personality shines. His absolute favorite thing is curling up with a pile of soft blankets, making muffins and nuzzling into them like a kitten. He’s a gentle, affectionate boy who finds so much happiness in the simple comforts of a cozy, peaceful home. What happens next

  1. Contact Community Animal Welfare Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Community Animal Welfare Society, never to AdoptNearby.
