Notes from Community Animal Welfare Society

Meet Stella Blue Eyes! This beautiful girl and her best friend, Ruby Tuesday, are searching for their forever sanctuary. After three moves in three months and a frightening encounter with an aggressive Husky, Stella is hoping her next home will be the one where she can finally settle in for good. Stella is the more independent of the two girls. She enjoys affection, but on her own terms, and she'll let you know when she's ready. She may take a little longer to warm up, but she's worth getting to know. She has excellent manners and will never lay on your keyboard while you're trying to work. At night, she and Ruby wait in their foster's living room for their favorite flying toys to come out. Stella and Ruby are bonded and must be adopted together. They're looking for a quiet home without dogs or young children, where they can feel safe and comfortable. With time they may adjust to a small, calm dog. If you have a quiet spot in your home and room in your heart for two sweet girls, Ruby and Stella would love to meet you! If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application

What happens next

  1. Contact Community Animal Welfare Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Community Animal Welfare Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
