Notes from Community Animal Welfare Society

Meet Ruby Tuesday! This sweet girl and her best friend, Stella Blue Eyes, are looking for their forever sanctuary. After three moves in just three months and a frightening experience with an aggressive Husky, these girls deserve a quiet, loving home where they can finally settle in and feel safe. Ruby is the more affectionate of the two. She may be a little shy at first, but once she's comfortable, she'll happily seek out attention and loves being brushed. She's also quite playful! Every evening, Ruby and Stella wait in their foster's living room for their favorite part of the day: playtime with toys that fly through the air. Ruby and Stella are bonded and must be adopted together. They would do best in a peaceful home without dogs or young children, where they can relax and enjoy life at their own pace. With time they may adjust to a small, calm dog. If you have a quiet spot in your home and room in your heart for two sweet girls, Ruby and Stella would love to meet you! If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application

What happens next

  1. Contact Community Animal Welfare Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Community Animal Welfare Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
