Notes from Community Animal Welfare Society

Hi, my name is Spark. My favorite thing in the world is to lay on soft blankets and make biscuits, but I also have a playful streak. I am not a fan of the dog in my foster home, but if you have a dog, that is okay as I will just keep my distance. I've been around a child that is 8 and have done well with her, but I would probably do better with older kids vs younger kids. I have made friends with the many foster kittens in my home so if you already have pets, I should warm up to them. Or if you need suggestions for a friend to adopt with me, my mom can give you some. But I'm also a chill kitten that would be okay on her own if you are home enough to give me all the attention I need to play and cuddle. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-application

What happens next

  1. Contact Community Animal Welfare Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Community Animal Welfare Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
