Notes from Community Animal Welfare Society
Socks is the definition of a lap cat. She is a very loving and curious kitty who loves to play and loves to cuddle! She is a little reserved with new people at first, but she warms up quickly and once she feels comfortable, she is not afraid to let you know when she wants attention. She will follow you around, flop on your feet, and makes cute little chirps to make sure you see her! She loves playing with toy mice and pipe cleaners, especially when the toy mice make sounds! She also loves lounging around with you. If you’re relaxing, she will sit beside you, or on your feet, or hang out between your legs. She is a total lovebug. Socks will do best in a quieter home, preferably with older children. She currently lives with a dog, and could possibly live with a calm dog with a slow introduction. She must be adopted with her sister Mittens. They are a packaged deal. Mittens relies on Socks for comfort and confidence. Socks and Mittens would do best as the only kitties in the household but they do get along with the resident cat in their foster home.
