Notes from New Beginnings Cat Rescue

Candy is a striking DSH female with shiny black fur and bright yellow eyes born approximately 4/21/2026.

Candy’s name says it all. She’s absolutely irresistible!

This sweet girl first appeared at a feral cat colony on a local college campus, searching for food and safety. Thankfully, an NBCR volunteer working there took her in and gave her a chance at the loving future she deserves.

When Candy arrived, she was thin as a Halloween skeleton (but more loveable.) With good care and plenty of love, she quickly revealed her true personality: affectionate, cuddly, and happiest when she's soaking up attention. Her favorite things are gentle pets, warm laps, tasty treats, and being close to her people.

Candy has no tricks, only sweetness. If you're looking for a loving companion to fill your home with affection, Candy may be the sweetest treat you'll ever bring home.

Candy is microchipped and currently in a loving foster home. Her adoption fee is $125.
