Carlita

Meet Carlita – A Little Star with a Whole Lot of PersonalitySome girls are just born with star quality, and Carlita is definitely one of them. Named with a little nod to Carlita Kilpatrick, the actress, model, and daughter of legendary singer James Brown, our Carlita has the kind of colorful, unmistakable presence that makes you take notice. And really, what better name for a gorgeous calico girl who already knows she's something special? At 7 months old as of September 1, Carlita is a beautiful medium-haired calico with a fabulous fluffy tail that deserves its own introduction. Her coat is a gorgeous patchwork of calico colors, giving her that one-of-a-kind look that calico lovers adore. No two calicos are ever quite alike, and Carlita certainly isn't interested in blending into the crowd. Like many calico girls, Carlita has personality. Calicos have a reputation for being clever, curious, confident, affectionate, and just a tiny bit opinionated — sometimes affectionately called "calitude." Carlita fits right into that tradition. She's at that wonderful older-kitten age where her personality is beginning to shine while she still has plenty of playful kitten energy. She's curious about what's happening around her and ready to be part of the action. At seven months, she's past the teeny-tiny kitten stage but still young enough to enjoy plenty of play, exploration, and mischief. And when that fluffy tail goes sailing by, you'll know Carlita has somewhere important to be. Carlita would love a home where she's treated like the leading lady she clearly believes herself to be — with playtime, attention, cozy places to lounge, and humans who appreciate a cat with a little flair. If you've always wanted a cat who is beautiful, colorful, fluffy and full of character, Carlita may just be your girl. After all, some cats enter your home quietly. Carlita makes an entrance. Thank you for considering adopting one of our kittens/cats.
