Notes from New Beginnings Cat Rescue
Harper is a darling DSH black female born approximately 6/3/2025.
Meet Harper, a girl who is ready for her second chance!
Harper came to us from a hoarding situation in heartbreaking condition. She was emaciated and battling chronic ear and respiratory infections. Her ear infection had gone untreated for so long that she ultimately needed surgery. While she has made a full recovery, the surgery left her with a few permanent quirks: her left ear lays flat, and she has some minor paralysis on the left side of her face. But Harper doesn’t let any of that slow her down!
Today, Harper is healthy, thriving, and discovering just how fun life can be. She’s an independent kind of gal who has mastered the art of pouncing and enthusiastically flinging her favorite mouse toys. Feathers and laser lights are also firmly on her list of favorite things.
Harper has a little sassy side too. When she’s feeling extra affectionate, she may show her love with a few tiny love nips. She’s just a girl who likes to keep her people on their toes! At the end of the day, she’s happy to settle in beside her person for some well-earned chin scratches.
She gets along with cats and dogs, but she’d also be perfectly content as your one-and-only.
Harper has come a long way, and now she’s ready for the best chapter yet: a forever home where she can simply be a cat, quirks and all, and enjoy the life she deserves. ❤️
Harper is microchipped and currently in a loving foster home. Her adoption fee is $110.
