Squid

This handsome 2-year-old tabby has been through something no cat should ever have to experience. He was found abandoned with a collar embedded so deeply into his neck that he needed major medical attention. It took time and care to get him healthy and comfortable again. The heartbreaking part is that Squid clearly had been someone's beloved pet. He knew people, he knew what it was like to belong, and somewhere along the way, he was simply left behind. His owner was located, but chose not to reclaim him. Now Squid is looking for a new beginning—and this time, he needs someone who means forever. Squid is a gentle, loving old soul trapped in a young cats body. He warms up quickly and has an easygoing, mellow personality that makes him a wonderful companion for just about anyone! This sweet calm boy deserves a home where he'll be cherished, protected, and cared for every single day. A home where his past is just that—his past—and where the rest of his life is filled with all the good things he should have had from the beginning. If you have room in your heart and home for a boy who deserves a second chance, Squid is waiting.
