Notes from City of Houston, Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care

Hi, I'm Orange! I'm a ten-week-old boy with a soft peach-and-cream tabby coat, a white bib, a little pink nose, and a ringed tail, and I'll admit right away that I'm the smallest of my littermates. I make up for it with plenty of spirit. I'm one of the most curious kittens in the bunch, always poking my nose into something new and looking for my next adventure. Wave a feather toy my way and you'll see me at my best: I'll stalk it, pounce, and wrestle it to the ground with my fiercest bunny kicks. When I catch a squeaky toy, I let out a proud little growl. That's about as loud as I get, because the rest of the time I have a quiet, gentle voice. When playtime winds down, I turn into a total sweetheart. I love being around people, and when I want some affection I'll ask for it with soft head butts and gentle cuddles. I'm up to date on my shots, free of parasites, neutered, and microchipped, so I'm ready to come home with you. I'd be even happier if my best friend Green came along too. We wrestle, chase each other through every game we can invent, and whenever one of us goes off to explore, the other follows right behind. Kittens who grow up with a playmate stay busy, learn good manners from each other, and always have company when their people are away.
