Paprika

Meet Paprika ️Just like the spice she's named after, Paprika adds warmth, personality, and just the right amount of sass to life. This beautiful calico has traveled farther than most cats ever will—making her journey from Doha, Qatar, to the United States after being rescued during the regional bombings. Through it all, she's remained healthy, resilient, and incredibly well cared for. Like many calicos, Paprika is intelligent, independent, and deeply loyal to the people she trusts. She enjoys human companionship and will happily spend time with her favorite person, but she also appreciates having her personal space. She can become overstimulated with too much petting, so she's looking for someone who understands feline body language and will let the relationship develop at her pace. Paprika would thrive as the only pet in a quiet home and would do best without young children. Give her a little time to settle in, and you'll discover a sweet companion who forms a genuine bond with her person. Although she's currently waiting at Bear Den Sanctuary—a place often reserved for cats with nowhere else to go—Paprika is absolutely adoptable. She simply needs the right home and the right match. As a bonus, Paprika actually has a Passport, which shows she is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccines. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind companion with an incredible story, Paprika may be the perfect spice your life has been missing.
