Notes from San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition
My name is Acanthus, and I’m a spring baby who has really come into his own! I came to ACS with my surrogate mom and a combined litter of five kittens. My momma was a shy girl, and I took a little time to warm up to people, too. But once my confidence kicked in, my curious orange side started taking over. These days, I’m much more interested in being part of the action than watching from the sidelines. I’m a sweet, purry boy who loves to play, explore, and narrate my daily adventures. I also take household chores very seriously. Making the bed? I’ll burrow under the sheets. Folding laundry? I’ll investigate every last piece. You might think you’re getting things done, but really, you’re just providing me with enrichment activities. I’m active, playful, a little chatty, and happiest when I can see what my people are up to. I’ve gone from a cautious kitten to a friendly little companion who wants to be involved in everything. If you’re looking for a curious, affectionate helper with a talent for making simple chores much more complicated, I’m your guy!
