Notes from San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition

My name is Hawthorn, and I came to ACS with my momma Rosie and a combined litter of five kittens in the spring. I’ve always been a little more independent than my siblings, but that doesn’t mean I’m not a social guy! I love the company of other cats and enjoy having feline friends around, even when I’m busy doing my own thing. I’m also becoming quite the chatty fellow, and these days I’m much more willing to show off my affectionate side. I can be a little sneaky about getting discovered, but once you find me, I’m happy to have a conversation and accept a good pat. Scratch me in just the right spot and you’ll see my excellent butt-elevator response in action. I like to think it’s one of my more refined talents. Of course, my looks are pretty impressive, too. I have a striking classic tabby coat with bold markings and gorgeous green eyes. Between my handsome appearance and my growing enthusiasm for attention, I’m becoming quite a catch. I’m looking for a home where I can enjoy the company of other friendly cats, explore at my own pace, and get plenty of affection when the mood strikes. I may have an independent streak, but I’ve got plenty of conversation and cuddles to offer the right family!
