Notes from A Voice for All Paws, Inc.

This handsome teenager arrived with a very simple plan: convince humans to provide unlimited chin scratches, meals on demand, and cozy places to nap. So far, the plan is working beautifully. Anchovy loves everyone and would love his own home. He is every dog’s biggest fan- no matter how big they are. He loves to play and wrestle and has no fear. He is bold and brave and so sweet. He would be the perfect addition to any dog and child home. Anchovy is the funnest cat and can’t wait to find his forever home. Built like a giraffe that accidentally got turned into a cat, Anchovy is all legs, elbows, and enthusiasm. What Anchovy lacks in dignity, he makes up for in charm. He flops. He stretches. He appears beside you without warning and assumes you were hoping for company. The second he discovers a willing hand, he transforms into a purring puddle with absolutely no remaining interest in pretending to be independent. He’s also remarkably easygoing. New places, new people, new routines—Anchovy takes a quick look around, decides everything seems acceptable, and gets right back to the important business of being adored. If you’ve ever thought, “I wish I had a best friend who was equal parts comedian, cuddle expert, and oddly-shaped noodle,” Anchovy would like to submit his application. He promises years of entertainment, unwavering lap support, and enough affection to fill an entire ocean!
