Chimuelo
Domestic Short Hair / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · Baby · Male · Small · Dallas, TX
Notes from A Voice for All Paws, Inc.
When Chimuelo was found outside a gym, he was just a tiny black kitten trying to make it on his own. We don't know exactly what his workout routine looked like, but judging by his size, we're guessing he skipped leg day, arm day, and pretty much every other day too. Thankfully, life has gotten much better since then. Chimuelo is playful, curious, and packed with far more personality than should reasonably fit into such a small kitten. He approaches everything with enthusiasm and the confidence of a cat who is absolutely certain he is much bigger and tougher than he appears. He spends his days chasing toys, exploring every corner he can find, and working hard on his long-term goal of becoming a large, impressive cat. So far, the strategy seems to involve eating snacks, taking naps, and occasionally sprinting through the house at full speed. Chimuelo has been diagnosd with the Regressive form of FELV - so should only be with Other cats that are FELV positive or Dogs - regressive FELV means they can live long lives and are less likely to shed the virus. While Chimuelo may have been discovered outside a gym, the truth is he's much more interested in building a family than building muscle. What he wants most is a home where he'll never have to worry about being alone again—a place with plenty of food, plenty of love, and people who appreciate a hardworking little kitten with big dreams. The gains can come later. Right now, Chimuelo is focused on finding his forever home.
