Marceline

Meet Marci (aka Broccoli): The Roadside Warrior Seeking Her Forever Couch!"You named the cat Broccoli?""Because no one really wants it, but it's good for you."If you are a fan of Onyx Storm, you already know the legend of the tiny, fierce kitten named Broccoli. But meet our real-life version: Marci. Long before she was demanding bites of steamed broccoli right off our plates, Marci’s story started in the most terrifying way possible. Found completely alone as a tiny 6-week-old—literally no bigger than a fist hiding inside a gift bag on the side of a highway in Castroville—she faced odds that no kitten should ever have to combat. Between a severe tail injury and a battle with ringworm, she fought through weeks of intensive medical isolation like a true champion. And guess what? She won. Her tail healed completely on its own like the absolute superhero she is, her ringworm is entirely cleared, and she is ready to trade her medical history for a bright future. What You Need to Know About Marci:• The Survivor Spirit: She has already beaten highway odds and medical hurdles, proving she is as resilient as they come.• The Gourmet Taste: True to her unofficial namesake, she possesses an inexplicable, passionate love for steamed broccoli. Don't worry—we'll share the recipe she prefers!• Pure Sweetness: Despite everything she endured early on, she is exceptionally affectionate, playful, and ready to snuggle. Marci is fully vetted, healthy, and looking for a dragon-riding human (or just someone who appreciates a fierce little calico with elite literary taste) to give her the safe, pampered indoor life she fought so hard to reach. Could Marci be the missing piece to your Quest Squad? Apply to adopt her today! Thank you for considering adopting one of our kittens/cats.
