Notes from Operation Pets Alive

Wilma was found roaming the streets with her kittens in tow. Only one of them survived and has already been adopted; now it is Wilma's turn to find a loving home.

She is very gentle and sweet, but she is still a bit scared and does not like to be picked up (She still thinks she will get eaten by a predator).

Wilma would love to find a family that will be patient with her and will let her settle down until she understands she is finally safe at home.

What happens next

  1. Contact Operation Pets Alive using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Operation Pets Alive, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
