Notes from Critter Cavalry Rescue

Meet Amelia Earhart! ✈️ Amelia Earhart is a 5-month-old tortoiseshell kitten with a coat like autumn leaves — swirls of inky black, warm caramel, and smoky gray — and big green eyes that look straight into your soul. Don't let that serious little face fool you, this girl is an explorer at heart. Named for the famous aviator, she's always on a mission: to investigate every corner, climb every pillow mountain, and take off on daring flights of fancy (also known as zoomies). Her flight log so far:

7am: Pre-flight checks. Patrols the windows, monitors bird traffic 11am: Co-pilot duties. Must sit as close as possible and supervise you 2pm: Acrobatic training. Rolling, pouncing, and wrestling with her favorite crinkle toys 5pm: Long-distance lounging on the softest pillow she can find 9pm: Lands directly on your lap for purr-powered cuddles

Amelia is a classic tortie — independent, clever, affectionate on her own terms, and full of personality. She has that wonderful tortoiseshell chattiness, a fluffy tail she carries like a flag, and a purr that starts the second you say her name. She loves soft blankets, sunbeams, dangly toys, and being told how beautiful she is. When she's done exploring, she tucks her paws in and becomes the coziest little loaf you’ve ever seen. She's looking for a home ready for adventure and snuggles — someone who appreciates a brave little spirit with a soft, sweet heart. Age: 5 months Breed: Long-haired Tortoiseshell Likes: window watching, crinkle toys, being the center of attention, warm laps Dislikes: boring afternoons, being told she can't climb that Superpower: making every day feel like an adventure If you're looking for a kitten with the soul of an explorer and the heart of a snuggler, Amelia Earhart is cleared for landing — right into your heart.
