Notes from Hilton Head Humane Association

Button is a handsome 4-month-old black and white kitten who can be a little nervous at first and will need a patient adopter willing to give him time to settle in. With treats, toys, and gentle encouragement, Button’s confidence will grow, and we know he will make a wonderful and loving companion.

What happens next

  1. Contact Hilton Head Humane Association using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Hilton Head Humane Association, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
