Notes from The Humane Society of McCormick County, Inc.

Umber’s tipped ear tells the story of a life once lived outdoors, but her heart longs for something different now—a safe loving indoor home of her very own. This beautiful torti has the softest short fur, soulful gold eyes and a playful spirit. Umber adores humans and seeks out affection by giving head bumps and rubbing on you and enjoys every pet as if she has been waiting for it her entire life. She’s playful too, especially when the wand toys come out, but be careful she play bites once in a while. Umber wants companionship and love the most!! She is ready to trade survival for snuggles and would be a devoted companion to someone willing to give her the forever indoor home she deserves. Umber will become your lap cat after she has had time with you. She still reacts to fast movements and loud noises so a quiet home with adults and older children is recommended. Umber get along with other felines. She has a birthdate of 7/27/2024, up to date on vaccinations and spayed. Umber promises to return every bit of love she’s given, and then some given the opportunity.
