Notes from Cat Around Town Project

Hi, I’m Squatter —and I got my name because I showed up at my foster’s house and simply decided I live here now.

My foster mom also calls me Freckles because of the adorable spots on my belly. I’m always right at the front of the group, ready to make sure I don’t miss out on anything—especially attention, cuddles, and treats!

I will absolutely beg to be held, and I will absolutely beg for snacks. In fact, squeeze treats are basically the key to my heart, although I’m not picky. I’m happy to accept pretty much any treat you’re willing to offer.

If you’re looking for a sweet girl who has already perfected the art of moving into your home without asking permission, I’m your Squatter!

What happens next

  1. Contact Cat Around Town Project using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Cat Around Town Project, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
