Notes from Centre County Paws

Nitro is a senior cat looking for a home to call her own. She was found as a stray and brought to Centre County PAWS so that she would always have a warm home to sleep in. She is a calm natured cat who can be easily handled. She would love to find a quieter home where she can spend her retirement years basking in the sun. Nitro needed some medical attention when she first arrived but our team has helped her heal and now she is ready to find her home.

Her foster checked in to say: Nitro, aka Mimi, is the sweetest senior cat east of the Allegheny River. While she does not play much, she always greets me when I come home, and enjoys chin scratches, ear rubs, full body brushes and spine massages. A definite lap cat, a day is not complete until we have rocked in the rocker with her either in my lap or laying next to me with her head on my leg. She has a mellow purr . . One very sweet cat.

Nitro has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) Our adoption team will be happy to talk to you and provide more information about adopting an FIV+ cat.
