Notes from Forever Love Rescue Inc

Meow meet Abra! At just 3 years old, Abra has already had too many people let her down. This beautiful dilute calico came to the rescue after being trapped and discovered to have a microchip. Whatever her story before arriving here, a few things are clear: Abra has been through a lot of change in a very short time, the people she trusted failed her numerous times, and now she is left trying to figure out who she can trust. Beneath her uncertainty is a sweet girl who enjoys pets and wants love and the chance to finally feel safe. But trust doesn’t come easily to Abra. When she feels overwhelmed, she may become defensive, so she’ll need a patient adopter who understands that she can’t be rushed. She needs time, gentle reassurance, and the freedom to build a bond at her own pace. Abra must be an only pet in an adult only home with no children. Most importantly, she needs someone able to give her the patience and stability she needs to settle in. Abra is only 3 years old, yet she’s already had to endure so much uncertainty. She deserves to know what it feels like to finally stop bracing for the next change, to feel safe enough to let her guard down, and to trust that the person beside her isn’t going anywhere. We can’t give Abra back the time she’s lost, but we can hope someone will give her the future she’s always deserved - a home where she is cherished, accepted, loved, and finally allowed to feel she belongs!
