Notes from Castaway Critters, the James A. Hueholt Memorial Foundation

Meet Stewart, or “Stuey” to his friends—a handsome white and gray boy with a huge personality and an even bigger love for being spoiled. After coming from a hoarding situation, Stuey has discovered just how wonderful life can be when you have a safe, cozy home, plenty of toys, and humans who understand that cats deserve to be treated like royalty.

Stuey is playful, affectionate, and wonderfully mischievous. He loves romping around with his foster siblings or entertaining himself with springy toys and crinkle balls. When he’s ready to recharge, he transforms into a professional snuggler. He loves curling up against his human at bedtime and being carried around like the baby he clearly believes he is. He’s also happy to remind you when attention is overdue with an enthusiastic head butt—or by casually crawling across your chest and positioning himself directly between you and whatever you were looking at.

Stuey is good with cats, dogs, and children, and he’s ready for a forever home where he can continue enjoying all the good things he’s discovered. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful cuddlebug with just enough mischief to keep you laughing, Stuey is ready to be your new favorite little shadow.

Stewart has been neutered, is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, litter trained, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and has been microchipped. Stewart only eats dry cat food.
