Notes from Loving Care Cat Rescue

Meet Arabis, who came to the rescue by way of a SNAP volunteer who was doing a Trap-Neuter-Release effort in Lancaster and found her wandering around with her two brothers (Athos and Artemus), and immediately saw how friendly she was and rescued her.

Arabis is a purring machine. She is initially shy when meeting new people, but once she is comfortable with you she will melt into your lap and just loves to be petted and fussed over. She loves playing with her siblings and enjoys just spending time on your lap and loves Churu. She would do well with a friendly kitty in her forever home that she can play with.

Arabis currently resides with her foster parents in East Berlin, PA and is anxiously awaiting to be adopted into her forever home. She has been fixed and gotten all of her important vaccinations, so is ready to come into your life and heart.

Arabis's adoption donation fee is $135 and includes all age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter/spay.

If you would like more information on Arabis, please contact Judy at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com.

If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/ This is highly recommended as a first step in adopting any of our cats or kittens.

Please note: LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed. All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.

What happens next

  1. Contact Loving Care Cat Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Loving Care Cat Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
