Notes from KittenSnatchers

Kira is a sweet, affectionate cat with a funny croaky meow that earned her the nickname “Ducky.” She’s a moderate-energy girl who enjoys both relaxing in sunny windows and chasing toys like fuzzy balls and springs.

Kira is a true purr machine who loves greeting her people with happy croaks, head bonks, and full-body purrs. While she’s not always a lap cat, she enjoys being near her humans and will often follow them around the house.

Easygoing and gentle, Kira has never shown aggression and prefers to walk away rather than argue. She’s curious about other cats and would likely do well with a laid-back feline companion. She reliably uses her litter box and isn’t destructive, though she does love to scratch and will appreciate plenty of scratching posts.

Kira loves her food—especially wet food—and is not picky. Her one mischievous habit is trying to sample any unattended human food or drinks!

If you’re looking for a friendly, affectionate companion with a big purr and a charming personality, Kira may be the perfect match.

What happens next

  1. Contact KittenSnatchers using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to KittenSnatchers, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
