Notes from Pet Adoption and Lifecare Society

Sonic— he has lived his entire life on the street and was surrendered by his community cat feeder when he developed an upper respiratory infection. Living outside with little to no care also destroyed his teeth so, in addition to the infection, Sonic had a dental and had most of his teeth removed. As he was no longer in pain, he morphed into an affectionate cat who asks for pets all the time and is more than happy to hang up his street cat persona. But what Sonic would love most of all is to find his forever "person". Age 7.

This cat has tested FeLV/FIV. negative, is current on vaccinations and parasite-free. To hasten the adoption process, please complete our adoption form online at https://forms.gle/5xfPr3EUdSYSyAGV7 . What happens next

  1. Contact Pet Adoption and Lifecare Society using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Pet Adoption and Lifecare Society, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
