Notes from Loving Care Cat Rescue

Special kitties and the people who love them deserve special treatment. That’s why Hawk has a watercolor portrait which will be given as our gift to the special person who adopts him.

Hawk and his siblings and friends were rescued from a large colony of cats and kittens in New Cumberland. He started his life living on the streets, but he and his buddies are pretty happy being indoor cats now. Hawk is definitely a timid boy, but as you can see he is beautiful and with a patient adopter he will make a wonderful pet. Consider adopting him along with one of his more outgoing siblings/friends, Falcon, Pheonix, Sparrow, or Finch. They were all born in April 2025.

He is currently living at a foster home in Camp Hill, PA.

His adoption donation is $135 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter.

If you would like more information on Hawk, please contact lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com.

If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Please note: LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed. All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.

What happens next

  1. Contact Loving Care Cat Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Loving Care Cat Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
