Notes from Cat's Cradle Rescue

High Praise from her foster family: Rock Solid Friendly cat

Peppermint Patty is as sweet as her name - and only 2 years old. Patty is a beautiful, sweet soul who has been through a lot, but she still has a friendly personality and seeks out pets and attention. After being abandoned as a young female she found her way to us and quickly became a devoted, protective mama to her babies born in July. This cat has grown to trust us and feel safe with us, and we’ve gotten to see the sweet girl underneath that protective mama instinct. Her sweet boy kittens will have surgery soon.

Peppermint Patty is very sweet, curious, playful, and affectionate. She loves to explore, still enjoys playing, and absolutely loves to cuddle when she feels comfortable. She’s also wonderfully self-sufficient and has such a gentle, independent personality. Patty has lived with another cat and was ok after introduction but her experience with dogs is mixed so we would suggest no barking aggressive or "busy" dogs. She has lived with older children and enjoys their attention.

Peppermint Patty's adoption fee of $120 includes spay, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test. She will be ok as an inside cat with supervised outside time but prefers indoors only.

For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.

Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.

What happens next

  1. Contact Cat's Cradle Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Cat's Cradle Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
