SAUVIE #1936 - Offered by Owner - Friendly Gal
Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (short coat) · Adult (5 years 3 months) · Female · Hillsboro, OR
Notes from Cat's Cradle Rescue
Sauvie is a sweet, cuddly 5-year-old cat who would love nothing more than to be your lap warmer. She's affectionate with humans and thrives on attention — she just doesn't do well sharing her space with other cats.
Due to my other cat's medical needs, they need to be in separate homes. Sauvie would be happiest as an only cat, or in a large home where she can have her own territory. I don't have experience with how she does around dogs or kids.
Sauvie was adopted from the Humane Society in 2022. One thing to know: she does best on a seafood-based diet (we've found she may have a sensitivity to certain meat proteins) but your experience may very given she has probably been stressed with the other cat around. Sauvie has been tested negative/negative for FIV and FeLV.
Sauvie lives in Portland with her family and her rehoming fee is $50

Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.

What happens next
- Contact Cat's Cradle Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Cat's Cradle Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
