Notes from Rose's Rescue

Meet Bartholomew! This handsome boy is the most outgoing and brave of his trio of brothers. Bart and his brothers were trapped as part of a feral colony TNR project, but because they were so young and friendly they came indoors to be spoiled at a foster home. After being trapped, Bartholomew went from a scared little kitten to a big lover in just a few days! He now greets his foster mom with meows, craves attention, and loves to snuggle. He is always happy to be around people and ready for some love!

Like most young kittens, Bartholomew would be happiest in a home with feline companionship, so his ideal home will already have another friendly cat or be interested in adopting him with one of his siblings, Xander & Sebastian. Bartholomew has not yet met dogs but should adjust well to respectful canine friends. He is being fostered in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and is about 7 months old.

Bartholomew's adoption fee of $100 includes a negative test for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, topical flea prevention, and a microchip. If adopted with one of his siblings, the adoption fee for the pair is $150. Bartholomew's brothers are Xander & Sebastian. In a dream world, this sweet trio would all be adopted together!

What happens next

  1. Contact Rose's Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Rose's Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
