Notes from Rose's Rescue

Meet Xander! This stunning boy is shy at first and is the observant one of his trio of brothers. Xander and his brothers were trapped as part of a feral colony TNR project, but because they were so young and friendly they came indoors to be spoiled at a foster home! His confidence has grown so much in his foster home, and he will now sit in his favorite spot and wait patiently for his foster mom to give him pets. He purrs and purrs and loves to get attention!

Like most young kittens, Xander would be happiest in a home with feline companionship, so his ideal home will already have another friendly cat or be interested in adopting him with one of his siblings, Sebastian & Bartholomew. Xander has not yet met dogs but should adjust well to respectful canine friends. He is being fostered in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and is about 7 months old.

Xander's adoption fee of $100 includes a negative test for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, topical flea prevention, and a microchip. If adopted with one of his siblings, the adoption fee for the pair is $150. Xander's brothers are Sebastian & Bartholomew. In a dream world, this sweet trio would all be adopted together!

What happens next

  1. Contact Rose's Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Rose's Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
