Notes from Rose's Rescue

Meet Onion! Onion is an extra-sweet boy who loves being around people and playing with his siblings, Garlic and Chive. Onion is the gentle one of the litter and has a loving personality that makes him easy to adore. He enjoys attention and will be glued to your side. Onion is just an all-around good boy looking for a family of his own!

Onion loves other cats and, like most kittens, he would be happiest in a home with feline companionship. His ideal home will already have another cat or be interested in adopting him with one of his siblings, Garlic or Chive.

Onion's adoption fee of $100 includes a negative test for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, topical flea prevention, and a microchip. If he is adopted with one of his siblings, Garlic or Chive, their adoption fee is $150.

For those viewing on Petfinder, please apply by clicking "More About Rose's Rescue," where you can complete an adoption application. You may also apply directly through the Rose's Rescue website under "Fees - Adoption Info - Online Application."

Thank you for considering adoption—our adoptable cats can't wait to meet you!

What happens next

  1. Contact Rose's Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Rose's Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
