Poppy 2026
Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) · Baby (4 months 18 days) · Female · Medium · Batavia, OH
Notes from Sweet Dream House Rescue
Poppy is close to 4 months old. She is a good mix of independent and needing lots of cuddles and playing with another cat. She likes to play with her sister, Pearl! She will look for you when you get home to greet you and expects to spend lots of time with you! She is a sweet, cuddly expert biscuit maker, and falls asleep quickly when she gets still. She is very easygoing. Since Poppy is a kitten, she will need to have another young cat or kitten playmate in the home, as our kittens need to be homed in pairs or with a buddy. If you don't have another playful, friendly cat in the home, we are happy to pair her with a buddy from here to go home with! If you’d like to meet Poppy, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a meet with an approved adopter! You can also meet Poppy at our weekly adoption event every Saturday 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at PetSmart Eastgate. Our cats are fully vetted and we require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines. We will not send cats to home where they will be declawed as it is a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

- Contact Sweet Dream House Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Sweet Dream House Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
