Notes from Toby's Critter Cove Rescue

Rosie is an adorable 5-month-old sweetheart who is looking for someone willing to give her a little time to show just how wonderful she really is.

Rosie and her littermates were trapped and brought into rescue with their mama. Because they didn’t get much exposure to people during those important first few months of life, Rosie can be cautious with new people and new surroundings. She needs a calmer home and, most importantly, someone who understands that earning her trust may take a few weeks.

But once Rosie decides you’re safe, get ready—because this girl has SO much personality hiding behind that initial shyness!

Rosie is affectionate, sweet, and loves attention and cuddles once she’s comfortable. She enjoys being close to her people and definitely has lap-cat potential. She’s also quite the little acrobat! Give her a dangly mouse toy and she’ll leap through the air trying to catch it, and break out the laser pointer and she is ready for action. She even has the cutest little chirps that make it pretty hard not to fall in love with her.

Rosie isn’t necessarily going to show you all of this on day one. She needs someone who will give her the chance to settle in, learn her new surroundings, and build trust at her own pace. Give her a few weeks, and you’ll start seeing the funny, affectionate, playful little girl we already know is in there.

Rosie can also go into a foster-to-adopt home, giving you a few weeks to get to know one another and make sure it’s the right fit.

Adoption is $175 which includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.
