Notes from Paws and Prayers

Meet Kitten Oakley! At about 3 months young, Oakley is a complete little nutball with places to go, things to investigate, and absolutely no time to sit still. His favorite partner in crime is his brother, Quay! These two are always wrestling, playing, chasing each other, and exploring whatever they probably shouldn’t be exploring. Oakley and Quay are not bonded and can be adopted separately, but we would LOVE to see these crazy brothers get adopted together and keep the adventures going. Looking for a kitten who will keep you laughing? Oakley is your guy! Oakley’s adoption fee is $145.00 Please complete a non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org

Paws and Prayers kittens are spayed/neutered, have received at least two vaccines (adopter responsible for third kitten booster and rabies), have had a littermate or themselves FIV/FeLV tested, dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litterbox trained unless otherwise noted. Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only.

Inquiries submitted through Petfinder or other third-party websites do not submit as applications in our database.

What happens next

  1. Contact Paws and Prayers using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Paws and Prayers, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
