Notes from Rose's Rescue

Meet Mira! This spunky, chunky girl has a big personality and lots of kitten energy. Mira is confident and social. She's always ready for an adventure, absolutely loves toys, and is great at keeping herself entertained. One of her favorite things to do is drag her wand toys around so she can play with them on her own! She also loves exploring and wrestling with her foster friends. Mira has been fostered with Periwinkle, and although they aren't related, the two have become best friends.

Like most young kittens, Mira would be happiest in a home with feline companionship, so her ideal home will already have another friendly cat or be interested in adopting another kitten along with her. Mira has not yet met dogs but should adjust well to respectful canine friends. She is being fostered in Akron, Ohio, and is about 6 months old.

Mira's adoption fee of $100 includes a negative test for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, topical flea prevention, and a microchip.

For those viewing on Petfinder, please apply by clicking "More About Rose's Rescue," where you can complete an adoption application. You may also apply directly through the Rose's Rescue website under "Fees - Adoption Info - Online Application."

Thank you for considering adoption—our adoptable cats can't wait to meet you!

What happens next

  1. Contact Rose's Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Rose's Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
