Notes from Sweet Dream House Rescue

SMUDGE is a gorgeous young kitty looking for a home. She's a short haired cat with a stunning coat, her markings are so unique they almost look fake. We swear we didn't put makeup on a white cat!! Smudge is fine with other cats but can be a little on the bossy side. She's affectionate and loves people. If you’d like to meet Smudge, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a meet with an approved adopter! You can also meet Smudge at our weekly adoption event every Saturday 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at PetSmart Eastgate. Our cats are fully vetted and we require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines. We will not send cats to home where they will be declawed as it is a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

What happens next

  1. Contact Sweet Dream House Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Sweet Dream House Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
