Notes from Paws and Prayers

Meet Kitten Glue Stick! Glue Stick is a 5 month young sweetheart who’s usually stuck like glue to her sisters—often quite literally sandwiched right between them! She’s a little on the shy side and enjoys the comfort of having another kitty nearby. A friendly cat in her new home would be a nice bonus and could help her confidence, but it isn’t a requirement. Give Glue Stick a little patience and time to settle in and her sweet personality will shine. Respectful kids who understand when she needs a little space should be a good fit. Dogs are still an unknown. Glue Stick may take a minute to warm up, but once this little girl gets comfortable, you will find yourself stuck on her. Glue Stick’s adoption fee is $145.00 Please complete a non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org

Paws and Prayers kittens are spayed/neutered, have received at least two vaccines (adopter responsible for third kitten booster and rabies), have had a littermate or themselves FIV/FeLV tested, dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litterbox trained unless otherwise noted. Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only.

Inquiries submitted through Petfinder or other third-party websites do not submit as applications in our database.

What happens next

  1. Contact Paws and Prayers using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Paws and Prayers, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
