Notes from Sweet Dream House Rescue

ORCA is a stunning young tuxedo girl who is always up for fun. She's a petite beauty, around 10 months old. Orca loves play time and attention from her people. She was found dumped outside with her tuxedo brother Penguin. She is a resilient girl, despite her rough start in life, she's confident and sweet. Orca MUST have a playmate who can match her silly energy. If you don't have a buddy at home for Orca, she can be adopted with her brother Penguin or with another cat/kitten. We'll even give you a discount for adopting a pair of cats! If you'd like to meet Orca, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Orca at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate.

Our cats are fully vetted and we require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines. We will not send cats to home where they will be declawed as it is a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

What happens next

  1. Contact Sweet Dream House Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Sweet Dream House Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the cats care guide so you arrive prepared.
